Can I gently suggest more variations for a full twist in the app? The bind under the leg is not going to work for a lot of bodies. If you do a bind like marichyasana c or a variation of marichyasana d, where the bind is over the leg, you can use a strap to gently progress the twist with less potential physical barriers.

Congratulations on being the 1000th entry! :)
And I see what you mean yes - I’ll forward it to Hampton so he can decide what he wants to do with it, but it’s a good suggestion so thank you!
In case this is an issue for you personally, please feel free to just roll with any of the variations that feel best to you!

I’m on the other end of the spectrum - none of the hold/twists even brush past what a “stretch” is for me, since I’m hypermobile. Super aware that’s not majorly of the population and I am amazingly happy with the strength progressions since the more muscle I have, the less all over the place my joints are, but I’d therefore love for there to be an option to opt out of an exercise type for the daily workout and for it to make me an alternative.
I’ve got a friend in a wheelchair who’d love to skip leg exercises, so we must not be the only ones who’d appreciate a choice - is that something you guys could consider? :-)

I’m pretty sure it is something that’s already being considered! For now feel free to just track exercises that you skip as 0 or 1 reps
Side note: Seeing as you absolutely should focus on stability in terms of rotiation too, I recommend something like pallof presses if you have access to cables or bands (also possible on rings), otherwise something like “thread the needle” would also somewhat do the trick :)

As the app expands, youll gradually notice more progressions and options. Thank you so much for your input! 😊
Awesome to hear, thank you Lars!
Never heard of pallof presses before, but I do have a band so will definitely try them today! :))

I love them so I hope you will too :b
App user here! For the app: I would also love more progressions between the bent leg twists and the full twists! Not sure if it’s my stature, as others have mentioned, but I struggle to get my arm under my knee from the outside. The bridge progression has a step where you’re pausing from the posterior chain to build shoulder mobility before putting it all together. I wonder if the twist progression could benefit from something similar?
