Leg raises progression, lower back pain#1172

I have been progressing from knee raises, to advanced knee raises, and soon moving towards full leg raises
Here comes my problem, i feel like i am diong the advanced knee raises without issues but when i try to do a full leg raise i get a sharp stabbing pain in my lower back
This pain does not come when im doing other variations
What could cause this, and is it something i should be worried about?

It’s a little bit surprising that it’s causing issues now I do agree! But it sounds like it’s just a matter of still being a little bit too hard and you thus losing the proper form and putting a lot of tension on your lower back because of that (or maybe you aren’t losing form and it’s still just too much tension for now) - I’d suggest trying to bend your legs ever so slightly, to a level that’s still harder than advanced knee raises but not painful, and to work from there, more gradually extending as you go along

I’d hope that that + progressing further in bridges helps you alleviate it! :)

More than likely weakness in core which with practice that pain will dissapate
