My mom is missing shoulder muscles that had to be removed from an accident years ago, she is consistently having rotator cuff issues however in the same area. Is there something that could be done to strengthen the surrounding areas to help offset the missing muscles? She in her fifties and I’m worried she’s going to injure herself further if she doesn’t do something to help.
If she is able to hold her arms out to her side, an amazing exercise for her would be a tie between Arm Circles for time progressively or simply holidng her arms out at her side for time isometrically and increasing duration when it gets easier
