I’m rehabbing a frozen shoulder and don’t have a pullup bar. I need alternative suggestions for doing dead hangs without the bar.

I figure what you can do is essentially go through the easier pullup progressions but just with an adjustment so that it resembles a deadhang - so like a wall pullup, but you’re actually just bending over, holding the wall/pillar overhead (as far overhead as comfortable) and then leaning back, same sort of logic for horizontal pullups - and if that feels much too easy then you could try single arm variants too
And if it’s just about getting the arms overhead then something like a prayer stretch or downward dog could do the trick :)

Thanks. Looks like there isn’t much of an in-home substitute for a real bar in this case except for yoga poses.
