Hi, I have a question. I’m doing these hybrid exercices and along with them some exercices with weights, but i wanna know, what should i do about my diet?
19y, 6’3, 189lbs
However, I do have fat around my belly and hips and i’ve checked my bmi and it says it’s okay, but i’m close to overweight? Should I eat less, more, same? What should I do?
And for example if i were to bulk and then cut, how do i know when to stop bulking or start cutting etc…Like is there a goal? Like idk if i can do 30 pushups in one set, should i cut then or how does it work?
If you want i could maybe send you a photo? In here? Although i’m a little insecure ngl xd
Nevermind here you go i found one that’s similiar to mine, although my belly is slightly smaller but okay:

Heya! Chrys here, one of the trainers at hybrid! You’re in a solid spot to start with either a lean bulk or a slow cut—it really depends on what feels more motivating to you. If the belly and hip fat bother you, a slight calorie deficit (like 200–300 under maintenance) while training hard will help trim fat without losing strength. If you’re more focused on building strength and muscle and don’t mind holding a little fluff for now, go with a lean bulk by eating slightly above maintenance (about 200–300 extra).
There’s no hard rule for when to bulk or cut—just track how your body’s changing. If your strength is going up and you’re not gaining too much fat, keep bulking. If you’re stronger but also getting softer, it might be time to cut. You don’t need to hit a magic rep number like 30 pushups—just go off how your body looks, feels, and performs. Focus on high-protein meals, stay consistent with training, and adjust intake depending on how you’re progressing.
Okay thanks!
