I am exercising at my house. Should i buy a pullup rod for further exercises as i cannot aling HC pullup hoops. Also any recommended characteristics to look out for while buying a pullup rod. Same for yoga mat, if you may.

Hey. This is Chrys, one of the trainers at Hybrid.
If you’re training at home, yeah, getting a pull-up bar is a good idea. It doesn’t have to be fancy; just make sure it fits your doorway solidly and can hold your weight without wobbling. A bar that hooks over the frame or a pressure-mounted one both work fine as long as the frame is sturdy. That’s all you really need for the Hybrid pull-up progressions later.
Same idea for a yoga mat. Get one that doesn’t slip and has enough cushion that you’re not grinding your knees or elbows into the floor. Something in the middle thickness-wise is usually the sweet spot: soft enough to be comfortable, firm enough so you’re not sinking into it during floor work
