What are some warm ups for full pull ups? I try starting with an easier variation but they tire my arms put to much and don’t seem to solve the initial soreness problem.

You don’t really want to “warm up” pull-ups by doing easier pull-ups bc that just burns your arms before you even start. Think movement prep instead. A few slow scap pulls wake up the shoulder blades without taxing you. Switching between a dead hang and an active hang for a few seconds gets your shoulders ready for being overhead. A light band pull, pulling your elbows toward your ribs at maybe 30 to 40 percent effort, reminds your lats how to fire without fatiguing anything. A short hollow-body hold locks in your body position for the main set. And doing a single half-rep pull-up literally just a tiny pull and back down taps the pattern without using strength. The whole sequence takes maybe two minutes and shouldn’t feel like a workout, but it’ll get rid of that stiff “first rep soreness” without draining you.
