Exercise for upper abs#1711

?

Could you recommend me some good upper abs exercises to do after leg raises? I have no equipment like dumbbells and such, i can maybe improvise but please if you could tell me which is the best exercise for them. Thank you.

Hey. This is Chrys, one of the trainers at Hybrid.
After leg raises, the best upper-ab work you can do with no equipment is controlled crunch variations. Slow crunches where you really focus on curling your ribcage toward your pelvis work great, especially if you pause briefly at the top. Hollow body holds are another solid option since they keep constant tension on the upper abs without needing weight. If you want something a bit harder, try sit-ups but only come up until your shoulder blades clear the floor, not all the way up. Keep everything slow and controlled and you’ll feel your upper abs light up without needing any equipment.
