How should I handle days where I’m not feeling well, i.e. sick days? I want to do something, but it is difficult to know how much to dial it back.
My brain also struggles with how to handle the app inputs. Doing an easier progression (regression) of an exercise is better than nothing, but what should I put for reps - 0? Does it affect the progression logic?
Thanks and have a beautiful day!

Hey. This is Chrys.
On sick days, the priority is recovery, not progress. If you feel run down, it’s completely fine to rest fully and skip the workout. That will not set you back. If you do want to do something, keep it very light. Think mobility, breathing, or an easier version of the movement done well short of fatigue. The goal is to move a little, not train.
For the app inputs, don’t overthink it. If you do an easier progression just to move, you can log the reps you actually did, even if they’re low. That won’t break progression. If you feel too sick to do the exercise properly, it’s better to skip logging it than to force a zero or fake numbers. Missing a day or two does not hurt your long-term progress at all.
When you’re sick, listen to your body first and let the app be secondary. Consistency over months matters, not perfect data on off days.
