Hello,
I am having trouble with full leg raises. I can’t raise my legs to be perpindicular to the floor without either bending my knees or raising my hips off the floor. After doing full leg raises with the best form I can manage, I feel it more in my upper thighs than in my core.
Does this sound like an issue with hamstring mobility? Or maybe it’s ok to allow my hips to raise off the floor a little? Maybe something with my hip flexors is causing the hangup? I’ve been doing extra hamstring stretches everyday to try to improve my flexibility. While I can stretch farther, I haven’t noticed much change in my leg raises so far. Any suggestions? Thank you!
