Getting started#1850

Hi,

Having trouble getting started.
My challenge is paralysis of analysis.lol
I can get stuck in overthinking. No doubt social media influences this.

A little bit of context about me.
I figure more information about me is better than less, so bear with me.

I’m 56 and I weigh 220 lb.
I work in the production kitchen and lead pretty active lifestyle outside of work.

Training History
2022–2025
I was doing routines out of convict conditioning. I really like the simplicity of that program approach. I got as far as 7 to 8 months of consistent training and would work out 3 days a week Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

This past year, I’ve e worked with a personal trainer.. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m..
I did mostly kettlebell training which was ok.

To my point. I’d like to continue working out early mornings moving forward but having trouble deciding which program to start with….SOLID START or WORK WEEK.
Id also like to add things like Dips, Grip work, lunges, bicep curls and mobility work to one of these routines.

Given the 100’s of variations one can do in any routine, what are some things to remember when starting out?

How does one when know if the routine their doing is balanced enough to create strength in all areas? i.e.. Your doing squats but your hamstrings and glutes are weak.

Thanks
Glenn
